Three projects by Francesco Rota for Desalto have been officially selected for inclusion in the ADI Design Index 2025, the prestigious annual publication of the Italian Association for Industrial Design. The “Desalto goes soft” stand, the Clip chaise longue family, and the modular Rebus system will now have the opportunity to compete for the ADI Compasso d’Oro 2026, one of the most coveted international design awards.
October 15, 2025 – The selection of the “Desalto goes soft” stand, Clip, and Rebus for the ADI Design Index 2025 marks an important milestone for Desalto, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to design research, innovation, and the aesthetic and functional quality of its products.
This recognition celebrates the value of Desalto’s design journey, built on the coexistence of its two identities: metal, the brand’s historic and defining element, and the new upholstered pieces, reflecting an evolution toward comfort and softer forms. A coherent dialogue between materials and design languages gives rise to innovative collections that remain true to the essence of the brand.
