During the 2025 edition of 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, Desalto celebrated a special milestone: the 10th anniversary of the Clay table, one of the brand’s most iconic products and a true symbol of its design philosophy.
To mark the occasion, Desalto presented an installation entirely dedicated to this extraordinary piece, showcasing its evolution and the many variations developed over the past decade. From monumental versions to more compact formats, Clay was displayed in all its forms: a sculptural gesture that remains unmistakable, regardless of scale, finish, or context.
The Clay table perfectly embodies Desalto’s vision: a harmonious balance between aesthetics and engineering, geometric rigour and poetic tension. Ten years after its launch, it continues to stand out for its timeless relevance and its remarkable adaptability to different environments, while preserving the strength of its original concept. Adding depth to the celebration was the presence of Marc Krusin, designer of the project, who shared insights into the creative process and the table’s evolution over the years. His contribution enriched the narrative without detracting from the true focus: Clay itself, in its pure and ever-evolving form.
With this presentation in Copenhagen, Desalto paid tribute to a project that perfectly represents its design approach: essential, coherent, and forward-looking. A decade of Clay — and a vision that continues to move ahead.
