Desalto returns to the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, reaffirming its commitment to a creative vision that finds its truest expression in metal. With the claim “Metal is our nature”, continuing the narrative path introduced last year, the company presents new interpretations of form, process, and design sensitivity. An invitation to discover how matter, technique, and poetry can merge into a single identity.

In the suspended silence between shadow and light, the Ultralight chair and the Helicon table emerge as essential presences, beyond time and trends: a balance of solids and voids in which metal becomes a gesture, and lightness asserts itself as strength. The choice to present the images as suspended, immersed in darkness and stripped of spatial and temporal references stems from the desire to isolate Ultralight and Helicon from any context, in order to highlight their purest essence. By eliminating the superfluous, attention is focused on form, proportion, and material, bringing to the fore the dialogue between solids and voids and the structural lightness.

This visual approach reinforces the iconic character of the products, making them perceived as timeless objects, capable of transcending trends and fashions. The contrast between light and darkness amplifies their stage presence, transforming subtraction into a powerful expressive tool that communicates elegance, innovation, and identity.
