For the 2025 edition of Tabula Rara, the exhibition curated by Rossana Orlandi, the Clay table in its limited edition takes center stage in a reflection on experiencing the table as a creative and cultural space.
Tabula Rara was conceived as a reflection on experiencing the table not merely as a functional object, but as a space for storytelling. Designers, brands, artists, and creatives are invited to interpret the theme freely, transforming each setup into a statement of identity. Each exhibited table becomes an exercise in imagination: it can evoke memory, provoke, express delicacy, or explore experimentation. An invitation to consider conviviality as an aesthetic and cultural moment.
In this context, the metallic edition of the Clay table takes on a central role. Its pure and measured volume becomes the physical and symbolic foundation upon which the table is arranged. The metallic surface reflects objects, multiplies them, and envelops them in a play of light that transforms the installation into a living organism. Clay does not serve as a backdrop: it becomes an active part of the exhibition language, an element that amplifies the perception of objects and redefines their presence through reflections and vibrations.
The project combines new objects and existing pieces, all available for purchase, creating a dialogue between past and present, between creative gesture and daily ritual. In this context, Clay in its limited edition becomes an interpreter of a new balance: an object that, while iconic, lends itself to reinvention. Its presence, both discreet and powerful, stages a table that goes beyond mere arrangement, narrating a way of inhabiting the world grounded in sensitivity, research, and design depth.
