The Maxi Clay table has a strong scenic presence; its expanded proportions highlight the balance between art and engineering, between sculpture and function. The conical volume of the bases and the surface of the top interact with light and space, generating reflections and shadows that shift throughout the day. The Maxi Clay presents itself in a warm and welcoming version, designed to invite conviviality and sharing. Two cones of different sizes meet at opposite vertices, defying gravity in a balance that appears delicate yet gives shape to the most classic of round tables.

With its imposing oval top, it redefines spaces and offers new possibilities of use, adapting naturally to both large residential interiors and exclusive contract settings. Table with rigid polyurethane base covered with handcrafted finishes "Concrete", "Stone" and "Marble". The "Marble" finish is obtained through the manual application of marble powder mixed with resin. Top in MDF covered with handcrafted finishes, in ceramic or in ash wood.

Marc Krusin began his career in Italy where he worked at the heart of the Milanese design scene for more than 13 years. He became Piero Lissoni's right-hand-man and associate, leading all types of projects from product to interior design for clients of international reputation. He now has his own practice in London and continues consult and design spaces and products for clients in several countries around the world. Among these are Knoll and Desalto for whom he created Clay and Mini-Clay, a range of tables which has become an iconic piece within the company’s catalogue. In addition to designing, Marc has taught and lectured at universities in Europe and Australia and regularly speaks about his experience at events and conferences.
