Tender
Historical project and bestseller, symbol of timeless design, perfect combination of form, function, and innovation.
The introduction of color in Tender’s lacquered frame completely transforms the perception of the product. The new finishes bring freshness and modernity, updating the historic design and giving the table a new life. The tones highlight the essential forms, enhance the lightness of the glass top, and make Tender an even more contemporary and distinctive design object.
The Tender table stands out for its timelessly contemporary design. Its robust metal frame supports a glass top, adding transparency and elegance to the overall composition. The combination of different materials emphasizes the visual lightness of the table, making it a versatile piece for any environment.
The Tender table, a historic project from 1988, represents an icon of timeless Italian design. As the progenitor of Desalto’s extendable tables, it perfectly combines elegance and ingenuity, embodying the excellence of Made in Italy. For over thirty years, Tender has remained an unsurpassed example of Italian design, a symbol of quality, attention to detail, and the ability to unite aesthetics with innovation. Every element reflects Italian craftsmanship, turning the table into an object that merges history, design, and contemporary refinement.
Tender’s extension system is an example of functional engineering. Two telescopic tubes integrated into the frame allow the table to extend simultaneously at both ends, ensuring smooth and precise movement. This innovative mechanism adapts the table to different space and conviviality needs while maintaining the solidity and elegance of the original design.
